The Bright Side Family Hosts Free Lunch & Learn on Housing Options for Older Adults

 

Teaneck, NJ – January 2026 — The Bright Side Family, a nonprofit organization dedicated to senior housing and supportive care, will host a free Lunch & Learn event titled “Finding the Right Fit: Housing Choices for Older Adults” on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Age Friendly Teaneck Community Room, located at 1425 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666.

This informative session is designed to help older adults, caregivers, and community members better understand today’s housing options and support programs available as people age. Attendees will learn about affordable housing, shared living arrangements, local housing programs, and will receive guidance directly from housing experts. 

​

Guest speakers from the Women’s Rights Information Center and the County Housing Navigator will share expert insights and practical guidance. Informational tables will also be available, highlighting local programs, services, and resources to help participants navigate housing decisions with confidence.

Event highlights include:

• Education on shared housing and alternative living arrangements

• Guidance from the County’s Housing Navigator

• Overview of local housing programs and assistance options

• Opportunity to ask questions and speak one-on-one with experts
